REVIEW // Australis AC ON TOUR Contouring & Highlighting Kit

So I haven't tried any contouring & highlighting palettes before except for testing a swatch of the Anastasia Beverley Hills contour kit but I heard really good things about the Australis contouring palette so during the Priceline sale I decided to purchase one.

I never really knew until I first tried it that everyday I actually contour my face, not bronze it. This is because I apply bronzer underneath my cheekbone rather than along it. I've always liked applying bronzer this way because I always noticed that my face would look slimmer and my cheekbones would look more prominent.

The Packaging 8/10
It's black, light and nice to look at. The only downfall is the quality of the packaging which is low in my opinion. But it isn't too big which is something I love about it. It's also really slim, but what palette isn't nowadays?

The Colours
There are three highlighting colours and three contouring colours. And they're all different for different skin tones, which is nice. I use the last highlighting colour as it's the only shimmery colour but it's also gorgeous and I use the middle contouring colour as it's the least orange/red looking colour. They're both fairly pigmented but most importantly are really blendable.
The other colours I rarely use and I can only think of using these if I am doing someone else's makeup.

The Product 8.5/10
Again, I haven't tried any contouring kits before, but I must say that I love this palette and use it on a daily basis. As the contouring colour is matte it creates a beautiful illusion of shadows on the face and the highlighter brings a gorgeous sheen on my cheek bones and other areas of highlighting.
Lastly, on the back of the palette there are directions on how to contour and highlight which I think was really useful!

Price/Value 9/10
You're really getting six products in one palette for RRP $16AUD but if you're lucky you can get on sale for $10AUD!

HAUL // Lush

top: Bombardino, Ickle Baby Bot
bottom: Santa's lip scrub, Charisma skin tint

I don't know if you'd consider it a haul but after Christmas Lush had a sale with all of their festive themed products which reeled me in. I'd recently been really into taking baths again but I've never used a bath bomb before and after talking to the girl working there she suggested a couple which I bought. Obviously, I haven't tried any of them, but I have extremely sensitive skin - to the point where most moisturisers and body washes irritate my skin, even ones designed for sensitive skin. However, Lush uses less chemicals than other products so I bought these two bath bombs.

The Ickle Baby Bot bath bomb contains lavender and camomile which will be good before going to bed, and the Bombardino has cocoa butter and soy milk which sounds amazing for my skin type.
The Ickle Baby Bot was at it's original price of $3.95AUD and the Bombardino was 50% off, so it $2.50AUD. I'll do a review once I've used them.

I also impulsively bought the festive lip scrub (Santa's lip scrub) which is cola flavoured. Honestly, I think I wasted my money on this one - it was half price making it $5AUD but I hardly ever use it because it's so messy. Since I dislike eating it, I'm not a big fan.

Another impulsive buy was the Charisma skin tint. I thought it was something like a liquid bronzer because of it's colour and consistency but you're actually suppose to add it to your moisturiser to "tint" your skin. Through thorough research it is suppose to act more like an highlighter, oh well. I use my fingers for this product because I hate washing my makeup brushes. This was 50% off totalling something like $10AUD.

This may look narcissistic but I thought it'd be interesting (for some) and I've never seen any other blog do something like this. Also, I usually take photos once I've done my makeup if 1. I want to do it again and 2. I spent so much time doing it, so I should probably record it somehow.
I haven't worn this much makeup in like a week hahaha, I've been stuck at home not doing much or out where I don't need to wear so much makeup. I'm going out for dinner tonight so I thought this would be suitable. Also, I haven't put eyeliner on my lower waterline for a REALLY long time, and I think I might do it more now because I think it defines my eyes better. Tell me what you think!
