STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BAG // Sydney Haul

Hello! So I am back from Sydney, and damn that place is so good for shopping (insert relevant emoji)
I was only there for four full days and funnily enough, I shopped every single day. I'll just quickly go through what I bought and why I bought it so you can continue with you day.

This is a simple black singlet top from Temt that is really nice and flowy and I think will be fabulous for Spring! It's so versatile that you can match it with pretty much everything! Whether it be for a formal or casual occasion.

This is also from Temt (sorry it's a little crinkled, I didn't have time to iron it) and I love these kinds of patterns, especially on tops because it brings fun when you wear them with shorts but sophistication when you wear them with a pencil skirt.

I love peplum styled clothing, I don't know what it is about them, but I love them so much. So it was really hard to say "no" to this item because it's so cute and perfect for Spring. Also, I don't own any tops with floral print so I thought it was fitting to purchase one. This is from Paper Scissors.

This was my first purchase from Sydney because the Bonds store was having a 40% sale on everything if you sign up for their VIP program. I've always wanted something from Bonds, clothing wise and I wore this jacket almost every day just around the house. It's so comfy and light, and I think it'll be great for Spring weather.

These are a pair of leather Converse shoes (low cut) which I got from Footlocker. I bought them because they were $50 when RRP is $90! Also, my all-black Converses at home have faded in colour so I thought it's time for a new pair.

All winter, I've been searching for a pair of light colour jeans and I've been having difficulty finding a pair in Adelaide but luckily Sydney is filled with them. I bought these from Temt and trust me, they look way better when worn.

This makeup item has to be one of the most raved items right now - Benefit's They're Real Push-Up Liner. I really wanted to try it so I just thought "why not?" and bought it. It is revolutionary, trust me.

Another eyeliner I bought is Stila's waterproof liquid eyeliner and I bought this in the colour midnight, which is a navy colour, because I really liked the concept of having liquid liners (in pen form) in different colours. I think the colour is gorgeous and easy to wear everyday.

This last item I bought for a laugh because the packaging looks just like Revlon's Lip Butters, but I tried the item at home and it is not good... But it was only $2.50!

Well that's it for today, I hope you liked my haul! And I will actually be in Perth this weekend so we'll see what else I'll find there! Enjoy your weekend!

Benefit's Push Up Liner

So when I was in Sydney I bought Benefit's They're Real Push-Up Liner and I'm so glad I watched this video by the company before I tried it! I'm really excited to wear it now!

FASHION FRIDAY // Cute Winter Look

Hi all! Here's another Fashion Friday post today, I hope you all are keeping warm! I am currently in Sydney and I am so excited to share with you about my travels there! There is excellent shopping here and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be purchasing a number of items.
This little number consists mainly of Kmart attire - shocking I know, but I want to show you that fashion doesn't have to be expensive and brands can simply be a little label.

I think the only thing you might want to invest in is a good coat. I bought this one a couple of years ago from Forever New, and I still get compliments about it even though it's not exactly new.

I bought these gorgeous lace-up heeled boots from Kmart! I think these look really sophisticated and although you wouldn't want to be walking many kilometres in these shoes, they are not too bad if you're going to dinner or a mellow party.

This sweater is so soft and the colour is so beautiful I really couldn't say no to buying it. Luckily, it was reduced down to $10 so I think it's a catch. The dress is a simple black skater dress worn underneath. Both items were from Kmart as well.

Thank you once again to the wonderful Yvonna Ha for photographing.

JULY FAVOURITES

Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer
by Maybelline
in medium
I am absolutely loving this concealer right now. I have been searching for months for a concealer that will conceal my (very) dark circles. Hopefully I can do a full review on this product soon!

Fit Me Pressed Powder
by Maybelline
in creamy natural 135
This is really good for keeping concealer on your face and for touch ups on the go (and after the gym) since it has a mirror inside with a foundation pad.

Daily Essentials Rehydrating Night Cream
by Johnson's
for normal skin
Considering it's so cold in Adelaide, that means dry skin, so I use this every night before I go to sleep to prevent dry skin from the cold and the heater as well!

Eye Studio Master Liner 24Hr Cream Pencil
by Maybelline
in black
This is just a daily essential right now - it does smudge a little over time but it is quite good for the price I bought it for (about $7)

Eczema Relief Cream
by Nyal
So every single winter, my skin protests the cold by inducing intense eczema. Not only is it really unattractive but it is incredibly irritating. I found this cream and thought I'd try it out since I couldn't find my prescribed one but this is surprisingly good. It gets rid of the redness, the itchiness, and now my skin is on it's way back to becoming normal!

FASHION FRIDAY // Uni-wear

So this week uni is back and I thought I'd let you have a look of my typical uni outfit.
Sneakers, leggings, a tee, hoodie and a windbreaker is pretty much what I wear from a day-to-day basis when it comes to uni. It's comfortable, versatile, and when I change the the tee, suddenly I'm wearing, what looks like, a different outfit.

Why are these five basic items essential to uni? I'll tell you why: comfort

Sneakers: My uni requires a lot of walking - this includes walking to my bus stop (which is a kilometre away from my house) and walking around campus, which is huge and has a lot of stairs and hills. Therefore I need comfy, light shoes to walk around in all day.

Leggings: They go with pretty much everything and are so much more comfortable than jeans and also can be layered with more leggings to keep you warm, i.e. my post before this. So when I'm sitting in two hour lectures my bum is getting numb from wearing jeans all day long.

Tee: They're cheap and kind of essential. Everyone has tees, duh. This is the one variable of this outfit.

Hoodie: It's so cold so I gotta layer up. Does this hoodie look familiar at all..?

Windbreaker: Now I didn't buy this myself. My mum actually bought it and I've kind of borrowed it forever. It's extremely light, but if you walk for a few minutes, you'll start sweating. So basically I warm myself up because this jacket retains heat so well.

Sneakers: Nike Air Max Thea in Dark Grey/White Jacquard
Leggings: Cotton On Active Basic Tight
Tee: Alife 'Choose Alife' tee in Red
Hoodie: Obey Collage Pullover Hoodie in White
Windbreaker: Denali Windbreaker in Black
