The Hannah Bag

Ever since the Hause store started selling Mission Workshop bags, I wanted one instantly. Unfortunately they cost a lot and I never got to use one until my older brother let me borrow (which in turn I kept) his one because he stopped using it. It was really good for bringing a lot of things because there was so much room inside.
I started using the Mission Workshop bag for University but with the amount of things I was bringing along to Uni, it was not worth using such a big bag with the small number of things I needed to bring with me.

I started searching for a new bag for Uni. A smaller one, obviously, and it had to be black and at least look like leather. I looked for awhile, and one day I was browsing through boohoo.com and there it was...
Perfection.
This 'Hannah' bag has more area at the bottom than at the top so everything somehow fits perfectly without the bag looking bulky. It also has heaps of hidden pockets which I love! I can tell the straps for the backpack might break off soon but I just need to cherish the time I have with it.
The backpack straps are also versatile because the bag can be made into a shoulder bag too, which is always good. It's a good tote size (HxWxD(cm): 35x32x13) and goes with every outfit I have because it's classy and simple.

Winter Finds

I've never been the type to wear heavy makeup during Autumn and Winter.
In fact, I generally do the opposite as the cold makes me lazy and lethargic thus I hardly wear makeup.
Although I've struggled to love dark berry lips and intense eye makeup, I guess it is growing on me.

Here are some things I found that I think should be incorporated in yours and my deeper, darker look for this winter.

Bourjois' Liner Feutre in Noir

Darker eye makeup means darker eyeliner right?
I've tried this eyeliner already and I actually really like it.
It's well pigmented and the tip is fine enough to do thin simple lines and it is resistant to smudges.

Bourjois' Color Boost Lip Crayon in Plum Russian

Deep red colours can make a real impact in your overall look, but I'm really not use to wearing such bold colours as yet, so I opt for this darker red instead.
It's not perfect. In fact the outer packaging ruined the tip of the crayon as I tried to take it off!
Not happy about that but it's nice and glossy, but unfortunately hard to maintain and not very pigmented.

Revlon's ColorBurst Lip Butter in Fig Jam

If you hadn't read my review about Revlon's lip butters yet, you must check it out.
Again, another love.
Although it comes off a brown colour, it simply just darkens the pigments of your lips so they look (naturally) darker.

Bourjois' Volume Glamour Mascara

This was a free gift and I'm not sure if they're sold separately in Australia right now.
I wore it today and it's not crazy good or anything.
It's not waterproof so I was put off almost immediately.
But it does volumize and lengthen, however for Asian lashes such as mine, the curl doesn't hold for long enough with this mascara.

Bourjois' Rouge Edition Velvet in Nude-ist

I am in love with this lipstick!
Especially the applicator. It makes it so much easier to apply.
This lipstick reminds me a lot of the Australis Velourlips because it mattifies after application.
But the colour selection is so much better. This is definitely my kind of colour.
The only problem is how dry your lips feel while you have it on, but what do you expect from a matte lipstick?

I know there is a lot of Bourjois products here but honestly half of the products were free gifts for buying Bourjois products.
I hope these brief reviews have helped you in what you want for this A/W season.

In the mean time, keep warm and safe!

Baby, It's Cold Outside

Let's face it, it's getting cold in Adelaide. As a matter of a fact I almost couldn't deal with how cold it was last Friday. However, I had a friend's birthday the next day and I had to try my best to keep warm.

A long sleeve bodycon dress, leggings and boots are an essential for this winter

Find nice vests to wear on top for more layers and for a pop of contrast. Mine is by Sally Phillips.

Boots are from Kmart, bag is from Boohoo

My "Pick-Me-Up" Dress

On a spontaneous trip to Harbourtown, I realised one simple thing about Harbourtown, EVERYTHING IS RIDICULOUSLY CHEAP.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Harbourtown is that pretty much every store location in the state of a specific brand company sends all items that weren't sold and are out of season to their outlet store in Harbourtown where the retail price is absolutely slashed to mere dollars.

I didn't buy much today, because well frankly, there's nothing I truly need right now.
However I came across this perfect little number in Portman's.

It seems like it was a perfect moment because there was only one left... And it was in my size.
I quickly tried it on. It fits perfectly.

There's always that dress that can instantly make you happy and feel confident.
This is my pick-me-up dress.
