HAUL // Vietnam

Three weeks in Vietnam was a long and tiring trip, but it was incredibly beneficial. I got to see so much of my family and even meet some new members. It was definitely a trip to remember.

 CLOTHING

So Vietnam is not well known for fashion however I did manage to find a few things I feel like I needed.
The first thing I have to say is beach pants. Some call them happy pants but basically they are lightweight, flowing pants that have an elasticised waist band and sometimes the ankles too. They are incredibly comfortable, seriously, it's like wearing pyjamas in public and amazingly, they are only about $6AUD in Vietnam. Compared to the prices in Australia, I just had to buy as many as I could. Unfortunately, attractive patterns were hard to come by, so I ended up with two pairs.

Secondly, the black and orange bodycon dress. This dress is really sophisticated and chic. The black side panels creates the illusion of a slimmer body and is very flattering. I can imagine wearing this to future job interviews or anything fancy shmancy I have to attend.

Lastly, the Tin Tin and Vietnam shirt. I say, if you go overseas, you must get a t-shirt that symbolises the trip. I thought this shirt was really cute and I end up buying several for a few friends as well!

BEAUTY

I didn't put any labels on this photo because I feel like everything is pretty self explanatory.
The Maybelline lip balms are the only makeup products I bought because there isn't much makeup in Vietnam - however I did see a lot of makeup at the Thailand airport and I was super upset that I couldn't buy anything!
Anyway, the Maybelline lip balms are exclusive to Asia so I figured I might as well buy some to try out since I can't get it here. When applied they tint your lips in a very special way. When you look at the stick itself, the product is clear, but when applied, it reacts with the pigments of your lips and gives you your own unique colour. Cool, hey?

Nail polishes are cheaper over there but the quality is so-so. I really needed a white colour and I thought this pink was cute.

I bought the bow clips to make more formal hairstyles look more cute and casual.

I also bought a bunch of notebooks and pens for Uni but for some reason, the photo refuses to upload.

That's all for now, I will post again soon!

Back from Vietnam

I'm really sorry about the delay but in the last week that I was in Vietnam I did some major shopping that I just had to include into the next big blogpost! Should be up tomorrow =)

WISHLIST // Urban Streetwear

So it is about a month away until university commences and I have gone through my entire primary and secondary education wearing a uniform everyday to school - and now I have to, somehow, wear casual clothes every day for the rest of my life. Although that sounds terrifying and money consuming, it does let me think about what I want to wear.

Having an older brother introduces different styles of music and fashion into my life and although most of this blog has contained very 'girly' things, I can't help but run back to the clothing I first fell in love with, urban streetwear.
